What we build

Complete decks. No patchwork.

We specialize in complete new builds and full tear-down replacements—not staining, sealing, resurfacing, railing-only work, or little repair jobs.

Why TimberTech

Four-sided protection for the part of the board you cannot see.

01

Protection wraps all four sides.

The TimberTech composite lines Freedom Home Improvements quotes protect the top, bottom, both sides, and the grooves around the wood-and-polymer core.

02

The underside matters most in Missouri.

Three-sided composite options such as Trex leave the bottom uncapped. If moisture reaches the organic wood fibers in that core, mold and mildew can grow.

03

Less recurring surface upkeep.

Routine cleaning replaces the recurring staining and sealing required by a traditional wood deck surface.

“Freedom Home Improvements is phenomenal deck building organization!

Sales rep, Robert, is such a blessing and took his time explaining the entire process from start to the final walkthrough. His gentle and kind demeanor was just right for me. He wasn't pushy and genuinely cared about my concerns and he answered all my questions. Additionally, Ally kept me updated on the entire process from the permit approval to the final walkthrough inspection timeline. (Thank you, Ally, for putting up with, and responding to, my gazillion questions!)

The install team was approachable, courteous, and professional. They did a fantastic job on our deck install. They did such a great job, one of our newest neighbors asked about getting a new deck installed at their new home. Also, my husband is a hard man to please when it comes to construction projects. He's very detailed oriented and picky about how things are built. He told me that he was very pleased with the install team's work as well as workmanship. If hubby is happy, I KNOW the job was done well!

Thank you, Freedom Home Improvements for being responsive and resolving all minor issues. I pray that you will continue to be blessed. Keep up the wonderful work! ~ Mrs. R.”

Before you accept “0%”

Ask for the cash price of the exact same deck.

A contractor-paid dealer or merchant fee can still be accounted for in the job price. A 0% rate does not erase the lender’s cost.

The lender still gets paid.

“0% APR” can still carry a contractor-paid dealer or merchant fee.

The financing company can charge the contractor for offering the promotion. Contractors may account for that fee—or other program expenses—when setting the job price. That is why the cash price matters.

If the prices are identical, ask whether financing or program costs are already built into every customer’s price. An unchanged price is not proof of dishonesty—it is a question worth getting answered in writing.

Straight answers

Before you plan your deck

What projects are the best fit for Freedom?

Complete new decks and full tear-down replacements for homeowners, with an absolute project minimum of $15,000 and most composite projects beginning around $25,000. We also build multilevel decks and projects with overhead roofs. We do not take patch repairs, resurfacing, staining, sealing, railing-only jobs, pool decks, or rooftop decks.

Do you charge for the initial consultation?

No. Start with the qualified project form and a short discovery call with a project consultant. If the project looks like a mutual fit, we schedule the site visit and prepare a proposal.

Who will manage my project?

A dedicated project coordinator helps keep the project organized and homeowners informed. Construction is completed by one of our three professional crews, with company standards and accountability behind every build.

Can I choose options without being pushed?

Yes. We define the complete build first, then show meaningful choices—decking, fascia, picture framing, railing, and lighting—separately. You decide what belongs in the project and what does not.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

We account for applicable local requirements and stand behind our work with a Passed Inspection Guarantee. If work within our contracted scope does not pass, we correct it.

What credentials and insurance do you carry?

Freedom Home Improvements is a TimberTech Certified PRO, a NADRA member, and A+ rated by the BBB. We are not BBB accredited. Our general liability coverage provides $2 million aggregate and $1 million per occurrence.

What warranty do you provide?

We provide a written workmanship warranty, with the applicable terms included in the contract. Applicable manufacturer warranties are separate and depend on the materials selected.

Where do you build?

Our primary service area is St. Charles County, St. Louis County—including Chesterfield—and Lincoln County, Missouri. We serve Missouri homeowners only and do not work in Illinois.
