Freedom’s owner created a written Deck Evaluation Standard so every Project Consultant reviews the same visible conditions. The site review covers visible deterioration, movement, connections, support conditions, stairs, railing, and apparent code or integrity concerns that affect replacement planning. You receive a written copy of what was documented.
This is not an engineering report and it cannot reveal concealed conditions, but it is far more disciplined than walking up, holding out a thumb, and declaring that the deck “looks level.” It gives the estimate a documented starting point.
That is why Freedom focuses on complete replacement projects. We price the new structure as one accountable scope rather than layering cosmetic work over uncertain framing.
A rebuild is also the right time to improve access, correct an awkward layout, resize the platform, change materials, or add options that make the new deck work better than the old one ever did.

Questions homeowners ask before getting a bid
Can you replace only the deck boards?
No. Freedom does not offer resurfacing or redecking. We specialize in complete tear-down and replacement when a homeowner is ready for a new deck.
Will you rebuild the deck exactly as it is now?
It can follow the existing footprint, but replacement is also an opportunity to improve stairs, flow, size, railing, materials, or other parts of the design.
Can I see the condition of my existing deck in writing?
Yes. Our Project Consultant follows Freedom’s written Deck Evaluation Standard and provides a copy of the visible conditions documented for replacement planning. It is not an engineering report, code certification, or repair recommendation.
What happens to the old deck?
Removal and disposal are defined in the project proposal so the scope is clear before construction begins.
